Founder update #1 – Our mission, our goal, and why I’m sharing this

We’re on a mission to make business trust visible. Because right now, referrals are stuck in inboxes, quiet chats, and WhatsApp threads. We think that’s broken.

Ndorsd is a simple idea:
Let businesses publicly endorse the businesses they trust.
No reviews. No star ratings. Just real-world relationships made visible.

So what’s the goal?

We’ve set ourselves a ridiculous target:

1 million users.

Not for the sake of the number — but because that’s the tipping point.

It’s where this stops being a tool and starts being a network effect.

Where trust becomes searchable. Where referrals become scalable.

Why share this?

I want to document this journey, not just celebrate the end (if we ever get there).

Each month, I’ll share:

  • Where we are
  • What we’re learning
  • What we’re tweaking
  • And probably a few bits that go wrong too

Where are we right now?

  • Website is live: ndorsd.com
  • First 1,000 lifetime spots are open
  • Waitlist growing (quietly – we’re not shouting just yet)
  • App is in build
  • Conversations happening every day with early believers

What’s next?

  • Getting our first 1,000 signed up – and asking each to invite 5 more.
  • Testing the network mechanics that could take this viral.
  • Building with integrity. No spammy growth hacks. Just clean trust.

I’m not writing this to impress anyone.

I’m writing it to stay honest, to build in public (but hopefully not pompously), and maybe help someone else trying something similar.

Thanks for being here.
Ndorsd
